About The Position

Responsible for developing new products and providing technical support to production plants and customers. Independently develop new products according to customer specifications. Develop DOE and Design FEMA for product development. Participate in three-year or long-term product/technology planning. Evaluate new testing instrument and make recommendations for capital expenditures. Define new product QA requirements to ensure product quality and performance. Responsible for transferring new products/technologies to the processing group. Perform initial material testing and gain material approvals from customers. Provide technical support to manufacturing plant to assure product quality. Support QS 9000, PCP and PSP processes. Keep accurate records and maintain good laboratory notebook practice. Publish Research Proposals, Field Trial Proposals and Product Releases. Publish progress reports, trip reports and monthlies on approved projects. Initiate and attend technical presentation from raw material suppliers. Maintain a safe, tidy and harassment free work environment. Maintain assigned equipment in a good operating condition. Production Scale-Up, Reporting and presentation. Teamwork and qualification of alternative raw materials used for Concrete admixtures. Up to 10% domestic travel required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Geology, or a closely related field and five (5) years of related experience OR a Master’s degree plus three (3) years of related experience.
Two (2) years of experience in PCP (Product Creation Process).
Two (2) years of experience in DOE techniques and features.
Two (2) years of experience in Concrete Admixtures Formulation.
Two (2) years of experience in Product Specification creation.
Two (2) years of experience in QC for Production and for Customers.
Two (2) years of experience in Concrete and cement chemistry.
Two (2) years of experience in Concrete testing including slump, air, Setting times, compressive strengths.
Two (2) years of experience with Analytical instruments, including HPLC, FTIR, and wet methods like titration.
Two (2) years of knowledge of MDG-M code creation process.
Two (2) years of SAP system knowledge.
