Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in the scientific discipline of Chemistry
  • Chemist license required
  • Handling of Explosives
  • Strong leadership skills, customer focus and continuous improvement oriented.
  • Computer literate, teamwork oriented, strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other parts of the organization and across multiple levels.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Flexibility is required to provide technical support to a 24-hour process operation.
  • Fully Bilingual
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that laboratory areas remain in compliance with applicable regulations, policies, pharmacopeias, and corporate quality procedures.
  • Review analytical results and complete the holistic evaluation of batches analyzed in the laboratory.
  • Generate and/or review laboratory documents including, but not limited to, laboratory data, procedures, qualification protocols, or any document related to laboratory analysis.
  • Provide analytical and technical support for QC Laboratory.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge in problem solving, troubleshooting, method validation/transfer and equipment qualification.
