The Research Chemist is responsible for PR&D projects, beginning at costing through conclusion or scale-up. Chemists work in both a team and individual capacity to ensure customer satisfaction through safe channels.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in research.
Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and research tools.

Responsibilities

Must be familiar with a wide range of chemical reactions/protocols
Plan, price, execute, and report on chemical research project or synthetic campaigns
Anticipate and predict chemical safety hazards
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, product teams, and academic institutions
Oversee research projects from inception to completion, ensuring methodologies, data collection, and analysis are rigorous and valid.
Must be knowledgeable in various analytical methods/apparatus
Develop approaches to resolve clients, and internal issues/projects.
Perform bench work and scale up work as needed
Resolve operational and analyst issues, including on nights and weekends.
Procure operational materials.
Participate in company meetings as directed.
Continually look for and recommend leadership process, product, and productivity improvements
Other miscellaneous duties as requested from time to time.
