About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. This role involves completing training with an experienced analyst/mentor, performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products, reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis, and running equipment or instrumentation independently or with guidance. The position requires working efficiently, ensuring quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration
  • No industry laboratory experience
  • Authorized to work in the US INDEFINITELY without restriction or sponsorship
  • Microbiology lab skills; pipetting, microscopes, staining, plating, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Completing all training in a timely and complete manner; working with an experienced analyst/mentor
  • Performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products
  • Reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis
  • Running equipment or instrumentation independently and/or with guidance
  • Working efficiently
  • Ensuring that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

  • Understand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation
  • Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
  • Use MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook email
  • Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

  • Perform laboratory maintenance
