About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. This role involves completing training with an experienced analyst/mentor, performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products, reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis, and running equipment or instrumentation independently or with guidance. The position requires working efficiently, ensuring quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration
No industry laboratory experience
Authorized to work in the US INDEFINITELY without restriction or sponsorship
Microbiology lab skills; pipetting, microscopes, staining, plating, etc.

Responsibilities

Completing all training in a timely and complete manner; working with an experienced analyst/mentor
Performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products
Reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis
Running equipment or instrumentation independently and/or with guidance
Working efficiently
Ensuring that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility

Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
