About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. This role involves completing training, performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products, preparing standards and samples, running equipment, and reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations. The position requires applying GMP/GLP, maintaining high-quality standards, demonstrating client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration, and meeting productivity metrics. Responsibilities include performing laboratory operations with good technique and accuracy, preparing reagents and standards, documenting testing and results, understanding calculations and computer utilization for data processing and report preparation, reading analytical procedures, using MS Windows applications, communicating effectively, seeking out work independently, performing laboratory maintenance, committing to occasional overtime, conducting activities safely, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and no industry laboratory experience
Authorized to work in the US INDEFINITELY without restriction or sponsorship
Microbiology lab skills; pipetting, microscopes, staining, plating, etc.

Perform/Review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures.

Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods
Understand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation
Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
Use MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook email
Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Independently seek out work
Perform laboratory maintenance
Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
