About The Position
The Chemist, QC performs and documents sample analyses using approved test methods, and calculates, checks, and/or reviews analytical data. The role assists with method development, validation, and transfer, as well as instrument calibration and maintenance. The Chemist may work on analytical projects under direct supervision and attends training classes and seminars as required. The position is on the 2nd shift and is eligible for a 15% shift differential. The stated salary range is $41,000–$93,000 USD; exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 0–2 years of experience; a combination of experience and/or education will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document sample analyses following approved test methods.
- Calculate, check, and/or review data.
- Assist with method development, validation, and transfer.
- Assist with instrument calibrations and maintenance.
- May work on analytical projects under direct supervision.
- Attend training classes and seminars as required.
