About The Position

Eurofins PSS is hiring a QC Analytical Chemist to support GMP testing of pharmaceutical in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples. The role also supports investigations of invalid results and method transfer activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Testing and review must follow approved methods, specifications, protocols, compendial requirements, and applicable GMP regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field with at least one year of GMP/GLP testing experience; or a master's degree in one of these fields with at least six months of industry GMP/GLP testing experience.
• At least one year of industry experience with Liquid Chromatography (LC), conductivity, and titration.
• Experience using at least two of the following techniques or instruments: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, and TGA.
• Knowledge and in-depth understanding of GMPs, ICH, and 21 CFR guidelines.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review in accordance with approved methods, specifications, protocols, and compendial requirements.
• Follow GMP protocols, including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211 and applicable ICH guidelines.
• Test pharmaceutical samples, including in-process materials, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples.
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies.
• Support investigations for out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), and invalid results.
• Use analytical techniques and instruments including NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, conductivity, specific rotation, titration, and TGA.
• Qualify and manage reference standards.
• Conduct and review elemental impurities and residual solvent testing.
