About The Position

As a Chemist, Production, you will be responsible for assisting Operations by providing technical assistance in the development of daily plans for receiving, sampling, remediating and incinerating hazardous waste. Additionally, you will oversee sampling and testing requirements for wastes received at the facility, including wastes that are not ordinarily sampled for compliance and testing to determine appropriate mix to the incinerator. You will evaluate all waste deliveries for compliance with approved waste streams into the facility, and assist in the chemical evaluation of process upsets at the facility. This role also involves tracking the chemistry of materials going to the incinerator and storage tanks for compliance with facility risk assessment and chemical tracking systems.
