Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, or in a natural, physical, forensic science or a related science field.
  • Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine preparation and analysis of various types of water, waste, soil, and tissue samples using several different types of instrumentation.
  • Converts raw data to final results using data reduction programs and reviews raw data for errors.
  • Performs routine maintenance on instruments.
