About The Position

As a Chemist I at Solstice, you will apply critical thinking and chemistry fundamentals to help develop innovative solutions for customers. Working under direct and/or indirect supervision alongside other chemists, you will develop and optimize analytical test methods, conduct experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development. You will provide expertise to help ensure the success of methods, programs, and projects. The position reports directly to the Chemist Supervisor and is based at Solstice's Spokane, Washington location; it is not remote or hybrid. The role requires availability for a non-traditional schedule, including evening and overnight shifts, weekends, and potentially weekend overnight shifts. Candidates must be willing and able to work outside standard Monday–Friday business hours as operational needs require.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related science.
Six or more years of experience working in a laboratory environment; educational experience may be combined with work experience.
