About The Position
Covestro is hiring a Chemical Technician for its manufacturing team at the Frankfort, Indiana plant. The role supports production of coating resins, with a focus on carrying out manufacturing and laboratory tasks while working safely.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to routinely lift 60 pounds.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Weigh raw materials and add materials by hand to various vessels.
- Work with the Distributive Control System (DCS).
- Enter data into SAP and train on new system revisions.
- Access data-entry quality information and maintenance work orders.
- Perform gas chromatography and other laboratory functions.
