About The Position

Supply Energetics is a U.S. manufacturing and technology company advancing the future of energetics and weapons systems. We combine precision engineering with modern production methods to deliver reliable, high-quality energetics for both commercial and defense partners. We’re hiring Chemical Technicans at our production facility "Prairie Forge" in Parsons, KS to join our production team. Technicians are the backbone of our plant — skilled craftsmen who take pride in running complex processes with care, precision, and discipline. This is hands-on work where attention to detail matters, and where your craftsmanship directly contributes to products that play a critical role in both civilian and defense applications.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship with ability to meet compliance requirements (e.g. REAL ID, background checks, and eligibility for defense-related work)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; with additional technical or vocational training
  • Experience in chemical operations, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety awareness
  • Ability to follow written procedures, standard operating protocols, and safety requirements
  • Self-starter with great attention to detail and ability to think on feet
  • Physical ability to lift materials, climb stairs/ladders, and work in plant conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in energetics, chemical testing/manufacturing, or defense production
  • Familiarity with process controls and instrumentation
  • Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintenance support
  • Commitment to teamwork, pride in quality, and a craftsman’s mindset

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain chemical processing equipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Safely handle raw materials and support batch mixing operations with precision and consistency
  • Run basic analytical chemical and qualitative testing
  • Follow strict safety protocols, environmental standards, and quality controls to ensure excellence in every batch
  • Keep accurate production records and report deviations or issues promptly
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment checks
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and engineers to meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Contribute to a culture that values pride in workmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement
