About The Position
Weber Manufacturing Technologies Inc. is seeking a Chemical Technician (Nickel Vapour Deposition (NVD) Operator) to support our innovative chemical mold build process at our Midland, Ontario facility. This role plays a critical part in overseeing production operations while ensuring environmental compliance and safety standards are consistently met.
Requirements
- Mechanical experience or related education.
- College diploma or university degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Water/Wastewater disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment in 7-day rotation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor environmental compliance and production controls within the plant
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of environmental systems and processes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Identify, pursue, and maintain required training, certifications, and qualifications.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to environmental performance and operational efficiency.
