About The Position

The Chemical Storage Operator is responsible for handling and mixing all adhesive and silicone materials and special waste. This role involves ensuring timely delivery of adhesives to production lines, conducting quality control samples, and managing the bulk tank farm. The operator will also be responsible for hazardous waste management, including identification, proper containment, labeling, and storage. Additionally, the position requires maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to quality standards, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Handling and mixing all adhesive and silicone materials and special waste
  • Provide adhesive to the lines on time
  • Conducting adhesive samples for quality purposes
  • Off load of tankers
  • Operate Bulk Tank farm
  • Work within Business Express(BE) for scheduling
  • Meet all quality requirements for all series
  • Identify Hazardous Waste
  • Ensuring proper containers are used for hazardous materials
  • Labeling Hazardous Wastes Containers and signifying Generation Start Date
  • Move Materials Designated as hazardous wastes into Hazardous waste storage area
  • Complete Weekly Inspections using appropriate checklist
  • Ensure building safety and keep supervisor informed of any hazards or facility damage
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Follows prescribed safety regulations; wears proper PPE
  • Maintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOL’s Quality Program
