  • Identify and communicate non-standard conditions, including EHS and product-integrity concerns.
  • Follow best practices for handling products and raw materials in a high-vacuum coating environment.
  • Complete periodic TPM checklists for assigned processes and equipment.
  • Review work for completeness and quality compliance by interpreting electronic data logs and HMI trends; measuring part weights, surface roughness, and dimensions; visually comparing surfaces to standards; and confirming analog and digital gauge readings.
  • Operate pre- and post-coating support equipment, including abrasive blasting systems, parts washers or aqueous cleaning lines, high-temperature ovens and furnaces, material-handling equipment, and surface-enhancement equipment.
  • Mask critical-to-quality demarcation lines using various maskants.
  • Support Coater Operators with part loading and unloading, fixture assembly and disassembly, and coating-fixture maintenance, including visual inspection and removal of residual coating and contaminants.
  • Support standard equipment rebuilds and material-loading tasks, including turnarounds.
  • Cross-train in other coating process areas and complete the applicable training program before performing assignments.
