About The Position

Entegris has an opening for a 3rd Shift Operations Associate in the slurry division. This is an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those with chemical manufacturing experience. The role involves producing, packaging, and preparing Entegris products for shipment. Responsibilities include weighing and measuring raw materials, receiving raw materials and containers, performing data entry and recordkeeping in the ERP system, conducting quality testing and inspections, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. The position also requires addressing deviations to PACE values, participating in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities, and contributing to plant safety initiatives. Miscellaneous production and warehouse tasks such as cycle counts, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, and incident investigations are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED Required
  • One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability and team building skills.
  • Technical - Mechanical or Chemistry-related experience, hobbies/interests are usually a good fit here.
  • Computer - Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel, ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
  • Behavioral – Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in our environment.
  • Physical – Requires manual lifting of up to 45 lbs., ability to wear respirator intermittently, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment.
  • Weighs, measures & verifies raw materials to make sure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.
  • Receive raw material and containers.
  • Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.
  • Perform required quality testing and inspections.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment.
  • Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.
  • Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.
  • Contribute to plant safety initiatives.
  • Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation).
