The Chemical Operator supports the Production Team and shift teammates in safely and effectively completing daily production and loading requirements. Duties include handling hazardous and non-hazardous raw materials, producing and managing multiple production batches, quality control and routine product-sample testing, retrieving and entering data in SAP, safely operating powered industrial trucks and yard trucks, and managing and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The job involves significant moving, lifting, and manual labor. Employees must follow established safety policies and wear company-supplied PPE, including a respirator. The role requires working with teammates to determine effective ways to complete daily tasks, recommending and implementing procedures or processes that improve team or plant efficiency and safety, ensuring compliance with plant rules and expectations, and communicating information effectively between shifts. The operator is expected to follow proper SAP data-entry processes, assume Chemical Operator A duties when that employee is absent, and gain introductory experience as a Chemical Operator A. The work schedule follows a Pitman rotation with 12-hour shifts; overtime may be needed. A high school diploma is required. Advanced studies and/or several years of related work experience are advantages. Solenis offers competitive compensation, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. The expected compensation range is $39,240 to $57,552, plus discretionary bonuses.
