About The Position

The Chemical Operator safely operates equipment used to blend, transfer, and package chemical products in a manufacturing facility. The role ensures accurate material processing, maintains production documentation, and supports efficient and safe plant operations. The position is temp to hire and is located in the Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin area. Available schedules are Monday through Friday, either first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or second shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Pay depends on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial operations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb as needed.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic math capabilities.
• Comfort working around chemicals.
• Ability to wear safety equipment, including a respirator, gloves, acid suit, goggles, and steel-toed work boots.
• May be required to work outdoors.
• Flexibility to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps, tanks, and processing equipment to transfer, blend, and package chemical products.
• Measure and mix chemical batches according to established formulas and production specifications.
• Fill drums, totes, and containers and prepare products for storage or shipment.
• Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure quality and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and inventory documentation.
• Operate forklifts or material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods as needed.
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
