Entegris is seeking a Chemical Operator for their Aurora, Illinois site, specifically within the Slurries Production Division on the 2nd Shift. Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED Required
  • One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability and team building skills.
  • Technical - Mechanical or Chemistry-related experience, hobbies/interests are usually a good fit here.
  • Computer - Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel, ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
  • Behavioral – Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in our environment.
  • Requires manual lifting of up to 45 lbs.
  • Ability to wear respirator intermittently, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment.
  • Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials to ensure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.
  • Receive raw material and containers.
  • Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.
  • Perform required quality testing and inspections.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.
  • Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.
  • Contribute to plant safety initiatives.
  • Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks, such as cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, and incident investigation.
