Requirements

  • HSD/GED
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Ability to work 12 hour, rotating night shift.
  • Strong commitment to safety systems and OSHA required standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with other employees.
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills including the ability to work independently, prioritize, meet targets, and manage workload.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Sit, stand, and walk alternately up to as much as 12 hours per day.
  • Lift up to 55lbs on a frequent basis during a shift.
  • Wear full face respirator as required.
  • Climb and descend stairs routinely.
  • Work in non-climate-controlled work area.
  • Will be working in the presence of environmental conditions such as fumes, dust, chemicals, odors and noise.

  • Preferred chemical batch making experience.

Responsibilities

  • Following batch sheet instructions to safely meet production targets with good quality finished product.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures and actively participating in the safety program.
  • Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as specified for each area.
  • Following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Completing all documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Ensuring all quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Ensuring housekeeping and 5S activities are completed throughout and at the end of each shift within the assigned production area.
  • Meeting production targets, urgently communicating any and all downtime that hinders achievement.
  • Actively training, as permitted and coordinated by Production Supervisor, to become certified in all areas of production.
  • Providing feedback and continuous improvement ideas involving plant safety, quality and production to the leadership team.
  • Embracing the Henkel vision and values.
  • Performing various other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
