About The Position

The Opportunity: Do you want to support the modernization of the Navy's arsenal, getting involved in a portfolio of pilots and full-scale modernization projects to enhance capabilities for the test and manufacturing of energetics and their component chemical compounds? Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a chemical engineer in the design, construction, and startup of new chemical processes
  • Experience with energetic systems
  • Experience with safety processes and procedures such as process hazard analysis
  • Knowledge of process plant development, construction, and commissioning, including a polymer, manufacturing, or chemical synthesis plant environment
  • Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional engineering team
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with chemical process plant design
  • Experience with facility design
  • Experience with U.S. government construction standards
  • Knowledge of manufacturing plant design
