About The Position

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Chemical Distribution Systems (CDS) Engineer to support the design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operation of chemical distribution systems for semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing projects. This role is responsible for reviewing chemical system designs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, piping layouts, and construction documentation while coordinating closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, BIM, construction, QA/QC, vendors, and field teams. The CDS Engineer will help ensure chemical delivery systems are installed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements, applicable codes, and client standards. The ideal candidate has experience with chemical or process systems, including pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation, controls, and equipment commissioning. Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing, chemical delivery systems, cleanroom construction, or other high-purity industrial environments is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience supporting chemical, process, utility, manufacturing, or industrial facility systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, pressure regulation, filtration systems, instrumentation, and process equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and operations teams.
  • Strong organizational and project-coordination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an active construction and manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor construction industry.
  • Direct experience with Chemical Distribution Systems, chemical delivery systems, or hazardous chemical systems.
  • Experience with bulk and specialty chemical distribution.
  • Experience with system startup, commissioning, and functional testing.
  • Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, HMI, or other process-control systems.
  • Experience working with high-purity piping systems.
  • Knowledge of chemical safety, hazardous-material handling, and applicable EHS requirements.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or similar engineering/design software.
  • Experience coordinating with equipment vendors, subcontractors, and field construction teams.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom, MEP, semiconductor facility, or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Chemical Distribution Systems (CDS), Bulk and specialty chemical delivery, Process piping systems, Pumps and pressure-control systems, Valves and actuators, Chemical tanks and storage systems, Filtration systems, Flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation, P&IDs and process documentation, PLC / SCADA / HMI systems, Equipment startup and commissioning, Preventive and corrective maintenance, Root-cause analysis, Hazardous chemical handling, Semiconductor facility systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, installation, startup, commissioning, and operation of Chemical Distribution Systems (CDS).
  • Review P&IDs, process flow diagrams, piping layouts, equipment specifications, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Review chemical system designs for constructability, functionality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate chemical system scope with mechanical, electrical, controls, BIM, construction, and field engineering teams.
  • Support chemical delivery equipment including pumps, valves, actuators, filters, regulators, tanks, piping, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Participate in equipment inspections, system walkthroughs, functional testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
  • Identify design, installation, and operational issues and coordinate corrective actions with engineering and field teams.
  • Troubleshoot chemical distribution equipment and system performance issues.
  • Support root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Verify field installations against approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors, subcontractors, and construction teams regarding installation, testing, troubleshooting, and system modifications.
  • Review and maintain engineering documentation, redlines, system changes, commissioning records, and technical reports.
  • Support development and execution of commissioning procedures, SOPs, testing documentation, and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities for chemical distribution equipment as required.
  • Ensure chemical systems comply with applicable safety standards, site requirements, and hazardous-material handling procedures.
  • Provide technical updates regarding system status, open issues, commissioning progress, and corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to system reliability, safety, maintainability, and operational performance.
