Requirements

Graduate or equivalent from an accredited program of chemical dependency education.
1 - 3 years Clinical experience in psychiatric setting preferred.
Experience and expertise in dual diagnosis, 12-step programs and substance abuse.

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

Providing treatment management, in conjunction with the treatment team, of the chemically dependent patient and family from the initial phases of treatment through continuing care.
Utilizing expertise in the theory, technique, and practice of counseling within this specialty in providing individual group, and conjoint counseling.
Delivering program content such as education and specialty groups.
