About The Position

Join Our Team as a Clinician as we build the Substance Use Disorder Program! Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am-4:30pm Position Summary: The Clinician, Substance Use Disorder is responsible for completing comprehensive assessments, coordinating care, and determining eligibility for patients meeting substance abuse programming criteria. Requirements

LPC, LSW, in addition to CADC. (Active and in good standing).
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage complex, high-acuity patient cases.
Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Leadership, training and supervisory capabilities.
Ability to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Commitment to patient centered and harm reduction approaches

Nice To Haves

Experience working in acute care, inpatient or residential SUD settings.
Strong knowledge of ASAM criteria and level of care determinations.
Experience with clinical documentation and EMR systems.
Experience utilizing crisis interventions in an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

Complete comprehensive ASAM 4 Level of Care Assessments and ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical records system.
Complete general substance abuse assessments for ages 12 and up based on need.
Deliver clinical interventions for acute and high-risk substance use disorder patients and communicate updates to the treatment team.
Utilize a harm reduction approach to support patient engagement and safety when appropriate.
Participate in team meetings to assist with growth, ongoing training and department development.
Facilitate a few substances use prevention groups and provide coverage as needed for substance abuse programming.
