About The Position

We are seeking a safety-conscious and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Chemical Blender in a chemical processing facility. The role is responsible for accurately blending, mixing, and handling chemicals used in production processes. It requires strict adherence to safety protocols, correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and a strong focus on quality and compliance. The ideal candidate can interpret batch instructions, understand material safety data sheets (MSDS), and collaborate with the production team. The position involves working in a production environment with exposure to chemicals and varying temperatures. It requires appropriate PPE, including respirators, gloves, goggles, and protective clothing, as well as strict compliance with safety standards. Tasks may include climbing ladders, lifting hoses, and maneuvering drums or containers. Candidates must remain alert and safety-focused throughout blending operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Basic understanding of chemical handling, mixing procedures, and industrial safety practices.
Ability to follow written instructions and technical documents, including batch sheets and MSDS.
Physical ability to lift, move, and handle containers of liquid chemicals.
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in chemical blending, production, or a similar manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Measure, weigh, and blend raw liquid chemicals according to batch sheets and production formulas.
Operate pumps, mixers, and other blending equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret material safety data sheets (MSDS) to understand chemical properties and handling procedures.
Draft and review job safety analyses (JSAs) to identify hazards associated with blending operations and implement appropriate safety measures.
Monitor blending processes for quality and consistency, and report deviations or concerns to supervisors.
Transfer blended products into appropriate containers, label them accurately, and ensure traceability.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of blending tanks, hoses, and the workspace to uphold safety and GMP standards.
Wear required PPE and follow facility safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Promptly report safety incidents, equipment malfunctions, or product irregularities.
Assist with other production or material-handling duties as needed.
