This role involves mixing, preparing, and applying chemical solutions such as insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides to control pests, weeds, or plant diseases using sprayers or spreaders. The attendant will also apply fertilizer and pesticides to turf and non-turf areas, and maintain detailed records of these applications using software like Excel or Trimms. Responsibilities include operating tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles for transporting equipment and supplies, as well as washing, cleaning, and refueling all equipment after use. The role also encompasses maintaining turf areas, mowing grass, and performing general lawn maintenance functions like edging and raking leaves to ensure the property grounds are well-kept and visually appealing. Additionally, the attendant must adhere to all company and safety policies, report any defective equipment, accidents, or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training and certifications. A professional appearance, accurate preparation of written documents, and support for team goals are also expected. The role requires the ability to read fine print, visually inspect equipment for defects, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and lift objects up to 50 pounds. Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to navigate uneven surfaces are necessary. Reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors must also be performed.
