About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking Chemical Engineering graduates to join their Frisco, Texas (TX) office in 2027. This is an on-site position. The role involves utilizing technical software for analysis and quality control of client deliverables, supporting project teams with foundational chemical engineering tasks, data collection, calculations, documentation, process evaluation, and coordination across various systems projects. The position requires solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client visions. The analyst will also develop familiarity with relevant regulations and company/client practices, participate in field observations and site visits, and cultivate technical judgment, software proficiency, and professional communication skills through project work and mentorship.

Requirements

• ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027 in one of the following majors: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Civil, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
• Supports project teams with foundational chemical engineering work, data collection, calculations, documentation, process evaluation, and multidisciplinary coordination across chemical/process, treatment, environmental, renewable energy, and industrial systems projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in field observations, facility walks, site visits, and team meetings as needed.
• Develop technical judgment, software proficiency, and professional communication skills through project work and mentoring.
