Nugget Markets is seeking positive, service-minded and experienced food lovers to join our talented chef team. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous industry experience in a similar role.
- Availability to work any day of the week, in any of our Marin/Sonoma locations.
- Intermediate to excellent knife skills.
- Outgoing, approachable, and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality ready-to-eat foods including entrées, salads, side dishes and soups.
- Make foods fresh with quality ingredients daily, with 85% made from scratch.
- Place orders for product.
- Take guest orders via phone and in person.
- Execute recipes for self-service and full service kitchen.
- Provide world-class service to diverse guests.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment.
