About The Position
Lakeside Neurologic is seeking dynamic team members who are self-motivated and passionate about helping others achieve opportunities and goals. We are leaders in rehabilitation for brain and spinal cord injury, behavioral health, and skilled nursing care. We are currently interviewing for the position of Chef. Chefs are important team members that perform various duties at the facility.
Requirements
- AS Culinary Arts preferred.
- A minimum of 2 yrs experience in high quantity prepping and cooking.
- Serve Safe and Food Manager Certification preferred.
- Must be able to work well with others.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a hospital setting, skilled nursing facility, school or commercial cleaning is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals for clients and staff.
- Works in heat and busy environment of the kitchen area and functions within structured time lines.
- Stands and walks short distance most of the day.
- Must be able to stoop for, reach for, and lift kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Must be able to lift articles in excess of 50 lbs throughout the day.
