About The Position

The Chef is responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

5+ years' experience in a similar culinary position in Retail, Education, Sports Arena, or Hotel industry.
Solid knowledge with Microsoft Office; Catering systems experiences preferred.
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively and enthusiastically in a fast- paced environment, high volume service and enjoy daily customer contact.
Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule.
Ability to travel if needed to assist with company events and needs.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree or Culinary Degree from an accredited university, college, or culinary association preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and execute menus: Breakfast, Lunch, Catering, Special Events, Concessions: modify based on food trends, costs, patron requests, and seasonal availability.
Weekly inventory, knowledge of on-line purchasing, cost control and catering systems.
Minimize food waste through effective planning and storage techniques.
Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the kitchen environment.
Hiring employees, staff development, managing work schedules and labor costs.
Superior customer service skills are required; will interact daily with our guests and clients.
May assist with special corporate projects or events.
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
