Requirements

  • Trade qualified Chef
  • Ability to work within budgets
  • Previous experience working as a sole chef is essential
  • A comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations
  • Be motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
  • Solid knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Prep and cook items from our diverse menus and daily specials, maintaining exceptional standards
  • Take responsibility for food production and work across all kitchen stations
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Champion allergy awareness and ensure all safety controls are followed
  • Manage food costs through portion control, waste reduction, and stock control
  • Ensure safe, high-quality food production while adhering to food safety guidelines
