About The Position

The Chef Partner will work at the Miele Experience Centre in Montreal. The successful candidate will embrace the Miele Experience strategy and operational guidelines, promoting the interests and business of the Company. This role requires active cooking and demonstration for small or large group/events, preparing meals for Retail Sales Training of dealers and Miele employees, hosting Miele cooking classes, and supporting Miele events. The candidate must maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and work areas, while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio. All Miele recipes must be executed as defined without alterations unless approved in writing by Miele.

Requirements

Bilingual French and English
Availability to work up to 30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on business needs, scheduled on a monthly schedule
Must be available for 3 out of 4 Saturdays per month
Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience
Must be comfortable with public speaking
Moderate computer skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Easily adaptable to change
Professional attitude
Must be a registered business – Business number will be required upon billing

Nice To Haves

Culinary School Graduate preferred
Training experience an asset
Valid driver’s license and your own vehicle is an asset

Responsibilities

Handle small or large group/events, which includes active cooking, and demonstration type events
Participate and prepare meals for Retail Sales Training of dealers, as well as Miele employees using Miele appliances
Work with the Regional Product Trainer to host Miele cooking classes as well as supporting Miele events
Maintain the highest standards to ensure the cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio
Execute all Miele recipes as defined by Miele without any alterations unless approved in writing by Miele
