About The Position
Eurest is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation. The role includes responsibility for the success of both operations and full culinary management of the food service operation. The position is based in Chester, Virginia, and offers a salary of $75,000–$80,000. An employee referral bonus is available. Requirements
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, a fine dining setting, or a restaurant, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
- Working knowledge of HACCP.
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Experience with exposition cooking.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
- ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full culinary operation of the food service operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving.
- Develop menus and manage cost controls, purchasing, and inventory, with a focus on sourcing and using local food products.
- Support the success of both the culinary and food service operations.
- Apply food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Perform exposition cooking.
