About The Position

Eurest is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation in Manassas, Virginia. The role oversees the operation’s culinary management, including inventory, ordering, and receiving, and calls for proficiency in menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory, with a focus on sourcing and using local food products. A passion for sustainability is also sought. The position offers a salary of $65,000–$70,000.

Requirements

Working knowledge of HACCP.
Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, a fine dining setting, or a restaurant, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Experience with exposition cooking.

Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
