About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to oversee food service at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. VHC Health (formerly known as Virginia Hospital Center) is a 453 bed not-for-profit teaching facility. The health system's flagship hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical services. The Chef Manager will play a hands-on role, overseeing food production, culinary excellence, and support patient dining, and catering services. The role will ensure an exceptional dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff. Overall, will oversee food service, driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a culture of excellence in service and quality.

• Passion for a high level of customer service
• Financial ability to manage and demonstrate proven results with material costs, labor, procurement compliance and controllable expenses
• Culinary background with a passion for healthcare food service
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
