About The Position
CocuSocial is a marketplace for cooking and tasting experiences, offering interactive classes hosted in restaurants, breweries, and hotels. Its mission is to make culinary education fun, affordable, and accessible. The Culinary Instructor leads hands-on cooking classes for participants with a range of skill levels, creating enjoyable and memorable experiences that encourage a lasting interest in cooking. CocuSocial is especially interested in instructors with specialties such as handmade pasta, sushi, dumplings, pizza, Spanish paella, Spanish tapas, and ramen. The role includes class planning and instruction, food safety, preparation, logistics, and supporting students during class.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a culinary instructor or chef in a professional kitchen.
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with diverse groups.
- A genuine passion for teaching and sharing culinary expertise.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while maintaining top-quality instruction.
Nice To Haves
- Specialization in handmade pasta, sushi, dumplings, pizza, Spanish paella, Spanish tapas, ramen, or other culinary areas.
Responsibilities
