We are seeking a Chef/Director for our school food service program located in the Sussex/Morris County, NJ area. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with day shifts, requiring 7 to 8 hours daily. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, be creative in menu development and presentation while adhering to National School Lunch Program (NSLP) guidelines, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the candidate to have proper documentation to work in schools and be willing to work occasional catering events on weeknights and weekends. Some travel may be involved. This is a client-facing role, so the candidate should be personable and comfortable with regular client interactions.
