About The Position

Kenny U-Pull is looking for an experienced and rigorous operations project manager to lead key operational improvement initiatives within its automotive recycling business. The project manager will oversee projects related to process optimization, technology implementation, and cross-functional coordination. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a solid understanding of vehicle recycling/recovery business processes, and the ability to manage stakeholders from Operations, IT, Sales, and Finance departments. The ideal candidate excels at transforming business needs into concrete action plans, monitoring project performance, and implementing solutions that improve efficiency, customer experience, and data reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, technologies, operations, or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering digital or system-related projects (software, CRM/ERP, mobile applications, process automation).
  • Solid understanding of operational processes such as vehicle purchasing, dismantling, inventory management, and used parts sales.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Perfectly bilingual in French and English.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is considered a significant asset.
  • Experience in automotive recycling, logistics, warehousing, or retail is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analyze and optimize operational processes (purchasing, dismantling, warehousing, sales, vehicle logistics).
  • Lead the deployment and integration of digital tools and operational systems in line with business needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Marketing) and external service providers.
  • Manage change, user adoption, training, and documentation.
  • Manage risks, testing, quality control, and deployment preparation.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), write activity reports, and present updates to management.
  • Ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
