About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is seeking a hardworking and driven individual for its culinary team. This role is for a cook who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do and shares a passion for service excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about cuisine, possesses attention to detail and a strong work ethic, and is a genuine, caring, and compassionate professional with a strong passion for hospitality and a natural ability to connect authentically with others. The role requires integrity, accountability, confidence in decision-making to deliver a luxury-level experience, and the ability to be a collaborative team player and strong communicator who actively supports and encourages colleagues to achieve shared success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Culinary Supervisory experience in a similar kitchen/hotel operation
  • High school education, cooking school, or culinary institute education preferred
  • Flexible schedule- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in English, Spanish also preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • US work authorization is required unless candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional quality by supervising mise en place and food preparation, maintaining Four Seasons standards across all outlets.
  • Provide thorough shift handovers, with mise en place complete and operations set up for success.
  • Communicate clearly so all team members understand expectations and consistently meet standards.
  • Build high-performing teams through clear task assignment and ongoing training and development.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Drive excellence by contributing creative ideas for menus, presentations, and garnishes.
  • Demonstrate strong organization and attention to detail, with proper stock rotation and immaculate kitchen and refrigeration areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by culinary leadership.
