About The Position

The Junto is a modern-day embodiment of Ben Franklin and his club of the same name. His “club for mutual improvement” brought together people from all backgrounds to discuss issues and ideas of the time while enjoying life. With an emphasis on public gathering spaces, our hotel gives visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists alike a place to come together, exchange ideas, and inspire one another. The Junto will be both a destination and a landmark of the area, helping to define and add value to the future of Columbus. In search of a culinary enthusiast who knows that great food can take an experience from special to extraordinary and who has a strong desire to set that standard. A Kitchen Supervisor is meticulous and consistent with an eye for detail, a passion for creativity, and the desire to both learn and teach. This individual is comfortable leading and training others and assists the chefs with everything from opening and closing the kitchen to inventory and receiving.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Kitchen management highly preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
  • Prior team leadership highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the opening and closing of the Kitchen
  • Oversee Kitchen team members including scheduling, training and mentoring
  • Monitor food quality, safety and inventory needs
