About The Position
The Montebello on Academy Senior Living Community is seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team in Albuquerque. This role is within a large senior living community where the team works together to care for seniors and provide them with the lifestyle they deserve. Stellar Senior Living is a premier assisted living and memory care provider in the Western United States, founded in 2012 and experiencing consistent growth. They are looking for top talent to join their expanding family of senior living communities.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.
- Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred
- Safe food handling techniques are required
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Work in a team environment
- Work flexible shifts
- Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
Responsibilities
- Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
- Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
