About The Position

Cardinal View Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Chef/Cook to join their team. Cardinal View Senior Living, which opened in the fall of 2021, is located in Middleton, WI. The community offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services in a 104-unit apartment-style setting. The role involves preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations, and impacting the lives of residents.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
