About The Position
Kettle Park Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook/Chef to join their growing team. Kettle Park Senior Living recently opened in 2019 and is easily accessible on Stoughton Road (HWY 51), in Stoughton, WI. They help seniors Age Magnificently in their gorgeous 80-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Kettle Park provides a stable leadership team and welcoming staff! This position is responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Requirements
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
- Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
- Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
- Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
