About The Position
Fairway Pines, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, is seeking an on-call/casual Cook/Chef. The role prepares food in accordance with resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. The position offers AM/PM shifts and a wage range of $17.50–$22.50 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
- Ability to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
- Advanced computer skills, including email use.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and meals according to planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature-control procedures.
- Direct and assist with cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils.
- Check trays for menu and diet requirements, resident preferences, and accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
- Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed according to established procedures.
