About The Position

Legacy of St. Michael, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook/Chef to join their growing team. Legacy of St. Michael Senior Living is conveniently located in St. Michael, MN. It is a stunning facility that offers 95 total units between Assisted Living, Independent living, and memory care. This community and its residents are amazing, our residents enjoy activities, hanging out in common areas, and are highly competitive! Join our team to help our residents Age Magnificently! Shifts Available: On Call/Casual (6:30a-2:30p and 11:30a-6:30p) Wage: $17.50-$22.50 per hour. Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
