Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of (1)-one year of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • A working understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF, QA/QC, CQP, HACCP, SOP,5S, GMP, etc.).
  • Proficient computer skills, software and data entry, SAP a plus.
  • Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • In accordance with SOP’s and product specifications, stage, weigh and record all batch ingredients.
  • Prepare dressings in accordance with dressing recipe specifications.
  • Record all ingredient usage using location ERP system.
  • Collect final product samples as required. Report any product deviations to the department supervisor immediately.
  • Perform routine product temperature settings during product batch and blend end-to-end cycle to ensure product meets specifications. Report all deviations to Supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all Allergen, Kosher and Organic protocols and product specifications.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in detail without deviation.
  • Operate pumps, valves and blend controls and equipment in accordance with training and SOP’s.
  • Perform equipment clean-up, washing of equipment, change-over, COP, wash and CIP/SIP operations.
  • Perform routine equipment set-up and adjustments.
  • Accurately and neatly complete batch records, system data entry and documentation. Follow all defined protocols for completing batch records.
  • Perform all department environmental controls.
  • Perform product reclaim and rework operations in accordance with reclaim guidelines.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.
  • Follow all established GMP’s and Food Safety requirements.
  • Effective coordination and cooperation with other departments.
  • Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.
  • Comply with federal, state and local dairy food regulations.
