About The Position

Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product. Operate brine tanks by filling and/or emptying cheese. Maintain brine level. Maintain and clean the equipment. Wash brine lines. Complete salinity checks, core temperatures, product sampling, and brine sampling. Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals. Requires regular attendance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Proficient in use of the computer
  • Solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills
  • Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
  • Compliance with food safety policies
  • Follow GMPs and SOPs
  • Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Requires regular attendance
