Checker Opr B shift (Edwardsville)
About The Position
In this position, pallets are removed from trailers using a forklift. Job tasks include breaking down and stacking cases while receiving, verifying correct product, date, and quantity. Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry 90 pounds or more. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and reaching are involved in this job. This is a cooler/freezer warehouse with temperatures ranging from -10 degrees F. to 32 degrees F. PPE will be provided. Shifts consist of 12 hours a day, 3 1/2 days a week. As Team Members grow with the company, growth opportunities are assigned.
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years.
- Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90lbs cases and occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 110lbs cases.
- Must be willing to frequently stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb.
- Must be willing to cross train and be moved to other areas as needed.
- Must be willing and able to stand for 12 hours per day on hard floors in a cold environment with temperature range from -10° to 30°F.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
