About The Position

The luxury shuttle chauffeur is responsible for providing safe, seamless, and elevated transportation services for hotel guests, ensuring a refined and memorable experience from arrival to departure. This role requires delivering exceptional, personalized service with a polished, professional, and welcoming demeanor at all times. The chauffeur will assist guests with luggage, anticipate needs, and maintain the highest standards of comfort, discretion, and safety while operating the vehicle. Strong communication with dispatch and attention to detail are essential to ensure efficient coordination and a flawless guest experience. This position plays a key role in creating a sophisticated first and last impression aligned with the hotel’s luxury standards and brand image.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with passenger endorsement or CDL.
  • Minimum of two years licensed driving experience.
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical exam.
  • Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment depending upon customer volume, shift, season, etc.
  • Possess positive and professional attitude with strong communication skills.
  • 3 Years Drivers License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience driving shuttle bus or commercial vehicles preferred.
  • Valet parking: 1 year+
  • Customer service: 1 year+

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive shuttle bus passengers to and from the hotel.
  • Cheerfully greet passengers and provide assistance with baggage loading and unloading.
  • Operate the vehicle in a safe manner and record any issues with the vehicle on the appropriate forms.
  • Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
  • Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
  • Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notify dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
  • Report accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
  • Treat all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
