About The Position

Roofmart, Canada’s National distributor for Exterior Building Supply for Roofing, Siding, Metal and Building Envelope. With over 50 Roofmart locations across Canada, we are strategically positioned to handle all our customer needs. We are looking for Enthusiastic, Driven, Outside of the Box Thinkers to help us grow our business. The incumbent is responsible for the safe handling of products, crane maintenance and maintaining a clean work environment that complies with health and safety standards. Safely load, move and deliver products while keeping a clean work environment that complies with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 1 Licence and ability to provide current drivers abstract
Must have 1 to 2 years of experience in the field.
Strong customer service skills
Authorization to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

Load securement training (can be provided)
Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)
First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)
Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)
Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred
Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

Safely loading, moving, and delivering product
Performing pre-operational inspections, maintenance checklists, cleaning and lubricating the crane
Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store, yard, and trucks
Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
Other duties as required
